JANA Kratochvila

 Jana Kratochvila is a graduate of the Faculty of Art and Design in Ústí nad Labem, earning a BcA. degree in 2012 in Jiří Kovanda’s performance studio. During studies, internships were completed at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno with Tomáš Ruller (performance) and Martin Mainer (painting). The work is deeply rooted in conceptual art, meditation, and introspection, shaping both performative and visual expressions. Since 2020, artistic practice has continued with a focus on personal and creative exploration. Together with artist Klarisa Kleinerová, the duo Konceptuální Domácnost (KON.DOM) was founded, centering on performance and video art. Their work has been presented at various festivals and exhibitions, including those at Brno galleries FAVU and offFORMAT.
